| dc.description.abstract | Thread lifting is a popular nonsurgical procedure for skin rejuvenation, utilizing bioabsorbable barbed threads inserted into subcutaneous or deeper structures such as the superficial musculoaponeurotic system. Despite its efficacy, complications such as thread misplacement can occur, leading to adverse outcomes such as dimpling, inflammation, and scar formation. This article presents a clinical case involving a 32-year-old woman with a superficially placed thread following a thread-lifting procedure. Using a specialized instrument, the N-Hook, the thread was successfully extracted through a minimally invasive technique. The procedure ensured the complete removal of the thread without complications, restoring patient satisfaction. | - |
