| dc.description.abstract | Herein, we describe an original synthetic methodfor a series offluorescent thieno[3,2-b]pyridine-5(4H)-onederivatives prepared via the gold(I)-catalyzed 6-endo-dig intra-molecular hydrothiophenylation process involvingN-thiophen-3-ylalkynylamides. The brightness was improved; emission could betuned, and larger Stokes shifts were recorded.
