The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of Self-rated health status to the suicide risk of cancer patients, the mediating effect of depression, and to analyze the moderated mediating effect of TSL family communication to prevent suicide risk in cancer patients. A survey of cancer patients was conducted for about 5 months from April 2015 to collect 208 cases, and 203 of them were used as final data except for the questionnaire with insufficient answers. This was analyzed using SPSS macro. The analysis results are as follows. First, the suicide risk of cancer patients was 28.1% (50), and self-rated health status was usually perceived (3.17). Depression was found to require clinical intervention in 61.6% (125). Second, it was found that the effect of Self-rated health status and depression on the suicide risk of the survey subjects had a significant effect through complete mediation. Third, TSL communication between family members is verified to have a significant moderated mediating effect on the effects of depression on suicide risk. Based on the results of this study, a national support plan for resolving the increased risk of suicide through depression in cancer patients with negative Self-rated health status and a therapeutic intervention plan for forming positive family relationships are presented.-
