dc.description.abstractVaccination against Japanese encephalitis is recommended for long-term travelers to endemic areas; however, the recommendation for pregnant women is controversial. An infant was diagnosed with Japanese encephalitis whose mother moved to an endemic area while pregnant. Preventive strategies are discussed.-
