dc.description.abstractAs it diversely verified how various variables, including daily life satisfaction, self-esteem, and self-efficiency, derived from quality of life among injured workers, could actually influence quality of live among them, this study was to suggest basic data for improving daily life satisfaction, self-esteem, and self-efficiency, so that it attempted to provide measures to improve quality of life among injured workers. Out of five panel surveys with 2,000 workers of each time, which Labor Welfare Corporation had conducted, from the first to the fifth years (2013~2017), this study selected final research subjects with 2,000 workers from the first year, 1,803 workers from the second year, 1,704 workers from the third year, 1,660 workers from the fourth year, and 1,616 workers from the fifth year, except censoring and missing cases. This study set dependent variables by dividing the quality of live into daily life satisfaction, self-esteem, and self-efficiency. It set an independent factor, which is influencing quality of life, and it analyzed the factor by dividing it into a demographic factor, a industrial factor related to injured workers, an occupational economic factor, and a health related factor. Utilizing SPSS and STATA, this research conducted frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, multivariate analysis (t-test, ANOVA), correlation analysis, and panel regression analysis (fixed-effect model). This study had results on comparison of the factors influencing quality of life among injured workers are as follows. First, this study found that after termination of care daily life satisfaction and self-efficiency of injured workers was improved but self-esteem was not improved. Second, when it comes to differences of daily life satisfaction, self-esteem, and self-efficiency on factors influencing quality of life among injured workers, as they have high educational background, they live in metropolitan areas, their care period was short, they didn’t use rehabilitation services, they received no obstacle grade out of classified list of personal damage, they are employed, they returned to their original work, they subjectively feel their health is good, they do not have chronic diseases, they regularly work out once a week, they usually sleep over 6 hours, and they drink alcohol, daily life satisfaction, self-esteem, and self-efficiency were high. In addition, when it comes to smoking, if they smoke, they have the higher general life satisfactory and self-efficiency but self-esteem become lower. Third, this study found subjective health condition and employment are commonly significant on daily life satisfaction, self-esteem, and self-efficiency of injured workers. In case of the daily life satisfaction, subjective health condition, presence of spouse, employment, areas, age, and family income are significant. In case of self-esteem, subjective health condition, presence of spouse, employment, areas, age, and family income are significant in order. In case of self-efficiency, subjective health condition, employment, age, and health behavior are significant in order. Especially, this study could verify that subjective health condition and employment are common influential factors on daily life satisfaction, self-esteem, and self-efficiency of injured workers. Therefore, it should be needed to make some effort to help their subjective health condition recognized highly and to improve employment supports of the unemployed industrial injured workers and quality of life in order to improve quality of life among industrial injured workers.-
