심폐소생술 지도에서 휴대전화 애니메이션과 전화상담원 지도간의 수행도 비교

본 연구에서는 휴대전화용 심폐소생술 애니메이션 지도에 의한 심폐소생술을 시행한 군(애니메이션 CPR군)과 전화상담원 지도에 의한 심폐소생술을 시행한 군(전화상담원 CPR군)의 심폐소생술 효율성의 차이를 실험을 통해 비교하고자 하였다. 심폐소생술 교육을 처음 받는 의료인이 아닌 병원의 일반직 직원들을 대상으로 하였고, 심정지 상황을 가정하여 마네킨에게 3주기의 심폐소생술을 실시하였다. 3명의 평가자가 심폐소생술 각 단계의 적절성과 소요 시간을 평가하였고, 심폐소생술 교육용 마네킨을 이용하여 객관적인 심폐소생술 술기의 적절성을 평가하였다. 애니메이션 CPR군은 심폐소생술의 각 단계 까지 걸리는 시간을 단축할 수 있었고, 핵심 동작의 적절성도 전화상담원 CPR군보다 우수하였다. 그러나 마네킨을 이용한 호흡의 양과 속도, 그리고 흉부압박의 깊이의 측정값은 두 군 간에 의미 있는 차이가 없었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 보완하고 휴대전화를 이용한 심폐소생술 컨텐츠를 더욱 발전시킨다면, 심폐소생술 교육을 받은 적이 없는 일반인도 실제 심정지 상황에서 보다 효율적인 심폐소생술을 시행할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This study was a single blind cluster randomized trial. We developed a cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) instruction program using a motion capture animation integrated into cellular phones. We compared the performance and skill accuracy of cellular phone-assisted CPR and dispatcher-assisted CPR in hsopital employees who don't know how to do CPR. Three observers scored the performance and time of each steps of 3 CPR cycle. The objective performances were evaluated using the Laerdal skillmeterTM manikin. The differences between groups were compared using an independent T test adjusted for the effect of clustering. There were significant differences in mean score, compression rate, hand position and completion time of 1 cycle. But we could not find any difference in compression depth, ventilation volume and flow rate. Under the guide of animated CPR instruction integrated into cellular phone, novice could perform more effective CPR than dispatcher-assisted CPR. This method could be used as a supplement to CPR practice and skill retention.
