dc.description.abstract | Various stem cells or progenitor cells are being used to treat cardiovascular disease in ischemic heart disease, stem ceil therapy is expected to regenerate damaged myocardium. To evaluate effects of stem cell treatment, the method to image stem cell location, distribution and differentiation is necessary. Optical imaging, MRI, nuclear imaging methods have been used for tracking stem cells. The methods and proglems of each imaging technique are reviewed. | - |
