임상의사의 폐경 후 골다공증에 대한 인식조사

Abstract

Objectives: To describe trends and attitudes concerning diagnosis and treatment of postmenopausal osteoprosis Methods: Self-administered postal questionnaire sent to Korean Menopausal Society members (gynecologists, family medicine practitioners and general practitioners). Results: Results showed 816 physicians (80.4％) offered measurement of bone mineral density to their menopausal patients. Most popular indication for the measurement of bone mineral density was routine check up (70.8％). Significant differences were found among physicians in different age groups and practice pattern regarding indication to measurement of BMD. Most physicians (45.7％) started prescribing pharmacologic treatment of osteoporosis to patients at and below -2.5 T score. Conclusion: Most Members of Korean Menopausal Society recommended measurement of BMD for menopausal women. d regarding indication of measurement of BMD, significant differences were found among physicians in different age groups and practice pattern.
