So many types of data like characters, documents, stil images, moving, moving images and voices can be processed by computers, In addition, as the communication technologies, telephones, facsimiles, etc, are developed, these technologies have applied to diagnose patients at hospitals. In this paper, we will report the Teleradiology system developed by our research team and the results. Image transmission is carried by discrete Cosine Transform based iterative residual coding technique. This technique is very useful at data transmission over the low-bandwidth channels. And recon-structed images have enough quality to do decision making.-
