치아우식활성군과 무경험군의 세균총의 성상에 관한 비교연구

서울 마포구 J국민학교와 경기도 용인군의 G국민학교 아동128명을 대상으로 한 조사에

서, 치아우식 활성군과 치아우식 무경험 군으로 나눠 dental plaque에 존재하는 세균 총

수 및 유산생성균수와 S. mutans수를 비교 관찰한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

1) 도시 및 농촌에서 세균 총수는 모두

㉮ 치아우식 활성군이 무경험 군보다 높은 수의 균을 가지고 있었으며,

㉯ 호기성 세균보다 혐기성 세균이 더 많이 관찰되었다.

2) 유산생성균 수의 비교는

도시 및 농촌에서 모두 치아우식 활성군이 무경험 군보다 많은 균수를 가지고 있었으며

, 도시의 경우, 높은 균수[10**7 균수/plaque(g)]를 가지고 있는 아동이 있었으나 농촌에

서는 그런 경우가 관찰되지 않았다.

3) S.mutans균 수의 비교는 도시 및 농촌 공히 치아우식 활성군에서 높은수의 S.mutans

를 가지고 있는 아동이 많았다.

The counts of viable bacteria, lactic acid producing bacteria and S. mutans of

dental plaque of the school children in urban and rural area were studied.

The results were then comparatively analysed with their dental caries and

residential ares.

The findings, were summarized as follow;

1. Viable bacterial counts of dental plaque of the children in urban and rural

area were.

a. Higher in the children who had active caries.

b. Frequency of the anaerobic bacteria were higher than aerobic bacteia.

2. The bacterial counts of lactic acid producers in caries active children were

also higher than caries free children, in urban and rural area but the children who

had higher lactic acid producer [10**7 bacterial counts/plaque (g)] was not found

in rural area.

3. The bacterial counts of S.mutans were also found to be much higher in caries

active children regadless their residency.
