3. 대상자의 일반적 특성과 제 변수와의 관계는 사회적 지지도는 종교와 유의한 관계를 보여(F=4.984, p<.001) 종교를 가지고 있는 간호원이 사회적 지지도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또 종교는 직업만족도(F=3.087, P<.05), 소진정도(F=3.639, P<-05)와도 유의한 관계를 보여 종교가 직업만족도, 소진정도에도 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
직업만족도는 결혼여부와도 유의한 관계를 보여(T=-2.03, P<.05) 기혼이며 종교를 가지고 있는 간호원이 직업만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
소진정도는 종교, 결혼여부(T=2.33, P<.05), 경력(r=-1.507, P<.05)과 유의한 관계를 보여, 기혼이며 종교를 가지고 있고 경력이 많은 간호원에게 소진정도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다.
이상의 결과를 종합해 볼 때 사회적 지지도와 직업만족도, 소진정도는 유의한 관계가 없었으나 사회적 지지의 상실면과 직업만족도와는 깊은 관계가(r=-.3370, P<.05) 있는 것을 알수 있었다. 그러므로 간호원의 직업만족을 높여 줄수 있는 방안에 대한 연구 및 행정적 지지를 통해 간호원의 소진정도를 낮추고 간호의 질을 높여 간호전문직 발전을 꾀하여야 하겠다.

In recent years, the concept of social support has emerged as a major psychosocial variable. Social support means support that an individual achieves by means of a cohesion of another individual group or community. This study was done for the purpose of analyzing the kinds and extent of social support of the clinical
nurses, and further of examining the relationships among the variables of social support, job satisfaction and the burn-out level.
The subjects of this study were 128 clinical nurses who work at General Hospital of Medical college of Y university.
The study method was a structure Questionnaire for the social support (Norbeck Social Support Questionnaire: NSSQ), developed by Norbeck et al, Job satisfaction scale developed by Paula et al., and Burn-out scale developed by Pines et at. This study has done a pretest and an internal reliability consistency test through item analysis.
Data was collected from April 8 to 15, 1987.
Analysis of the data was done by use of Mean, Frequency, ANOVA, T-test and Pearson Correlation Coefficients.
The results of this study were as follows:
1. Using the Pearson Correlation Coefficient hypothesis, it was found is follows:
1) The first hypothesis, "the higher social support, the higher job satisfaction," was rejected. (r=0627, p>.05)
2) The second hypothesis, "the higher social support, the lower burnout level," was rejected (r=-.0928, p>.05)
3) The third hypothesis, "The higher job satisfaction, the lower burn-out level." was accepted.(r=-.4900, p<.001)
2. The extent of social support is as follows:
An analysis of social support shows that family and relatives placed 25.6%, followed by 24.1% of friends, 13.6% of school associates, and 11.7% spouse or partner.
3. The relationship between the subjects general characteristics and such variables as social support and religion was significant at .05 level.
And the relationships between job satisfaction, religion and marrital status were significant at .05 level. And the relationships between burn-out level, religion, marrital status and work experience were significant at the .05 level. In Summary
of the correlation between social support, job satisfaction and burn-out level, loss aspect of social support and job satisfaction had been correlated strongly.
It is therefore, necessary to establish an administrative support as a means to improve job satisfaction of nurses.
This administrative support should be aimed at developing the nursing profession not only by reducing the burn-out level but by bettering the quality of nursing.
