성장기 소녀에서 하악골 성장 변화와 발육 연령의 상호관계에 대한 누년적 연구

각 개인의 두개 안면골부의 성장에 따르는 성숙도의 평가는 부정교합의 치료시기 결정과 치료계획 수립 및 치료 후 안정성에 있어서 매우 중요하며 특히 사춘기에서는 더욱 중요하다.

저자는 연세대학교 치과대학 교정학 교실에 소장된 7세에서 15세까지 소녀 13명의 누년적 측모 두부 방사선 규격 사진을 통하여 얻은 경추의 성숙 단계와 각급 학교에 보관되어있는 정기 신체 검사표와 면접을 통해서 조사한 신장 측정치와 초경 시기를 자료로하여 하악골( Ar -Peg, Ar -Go, Ge-Pog ) 성장과의 상관 관계를 연구하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.

1. 하악골( Ar-Pog, Ar-Go, Go-Pog )의 성장은 대개 2회의 정점 성장 속도(Peak Growth Velocity )를 보였다.

2. 하악골(Ar-Pog, Ar-Go,Ge-Peg )의 최대 성장은 주로 경추골 성숙 단계 중 3단계와 4단계 사이에서 나타났다.

3. 신장의 최대 성장이 하악골( Ar-Pog, Ar-Go, Go-Pog )의 최대 성장보다 빠르게 나타나는 경향을 보였다.

4. 신장의 최대 성장은 주로 경추골 성숙 단계 중 2단계와 3단계 사이에서 나타났다.

5. 초경은 하악골의 최대 성장보다 늦게 나타나는 경향을 보였다.

6. 초경은 주로 경축골 성숙 단계 중 4단계와 5단계에서 나타났다.

Thls study was undertaken to investigate the interrelationship between the growth change of mandible and the developmental age of growing girls in the longitudinal data from 7 years to 15 years. The data were obtained from maturation stage of cervical vertebae through the serial lateral cephalogram, height increment records which was taken at one year interval, menarche date through interview On the basis of findings of the study, the following conclusions were obtained.

1. In general the growth of mandible(Ar-Pog, Ar-Go, Go-Pog) showed two peaks of growth velocity.

2. The maximum growth of mandible(Ar-Pog, Ar-Go, Go-Pog) almost appeared between stage 3 and stage 4 in maturation of cervical vertebrae.

3. It showed the tendency that the maximum increment of height appeared faster than that of mandible(Ar-Pog, Ar-Go, Go-Pog).

4. The maximum growth of height almost appeared between stage 2 and stage 3 in maturation of cervical vertebrae.

5. It showed the tendency that the menarche appeared later than the maximum growth of mandible(Ar-Pog, Ar-Go, Go-Pog).

6. The menarche almost appeared at stage 4, stage 5 in maturation of cervical vertebrae.
