Abstract
[한글] 백서에 있어서 치주 질환의 초기 단계와 시간 경과에 따른 치은의 조직병리학적 변화를 연구하기 위하여 치주 질환의 원인인 치태 축적을 증가시키는 것으로 알려진 high-sucro se diet를 투여한 후 조직병리학적으로 관찰하였다. 실험은 백서를 대조군과 실험군으로 나누어 일상 사료와 high-sucrose diet를 투여해 실험시작 3,7,14,21,35,50,75,100일째에 회생시켜서 실험부위를 적출한 후 탈회시켜 통법에 따라 toluidine blue로 단순 염색하고 치주조직의 변화를 조직병 리 학적으로 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 부착 상피의 최상부세포가 7일 까지는 건전하나 14일부터 탈락되기 시작하여 100일째에 가장 많이 탈락했다. 2. 부착 상피 세포들의 세포 간격은 14일에 현저히 증가하여 약 50일까지 지속된 후 서서히 감소하였다. 3. 부착 상피 내부의 PMNL수는 3일부터 증가하기 시작하여 14일에 가장 현저한 증가를 보였으나 그 이후는 많은 증가는 없었다. 4. 결체 조직 내부의 혈관수는 7일부터 증가되어 35일까지 증가된 상태가 유지되었다. 5. 결체 조직 내부의 PMNL 수는 7일부터 증가하였으나 많은 증가는 없었다. 6. 개개의 부착 상피 세포는 14일부터 폭경이 감소되는 경향을 보였으나 세포 간격은 증가하여 전체 부착 상피층의 두께에는 큰 변화가 없었다. 7. 부착 상피층의 증식과 비후는 실험 전 기간을 통하여 관찰되지 않았다.
[영문] This study was undertaken to observe histopathologic changes of periodontal disease in the initial stage and changes as time passed, observation was carried out after feeding of high-sucrose diet which is known to increase plaque accumulation, which causes periodontal disease. In this experiment, white rats were used and divided into the control and experimental group to which conventional and high-sucrose diet were fed, respectively. Rats were sacrificed one by one on Day 3, 7, 14, 21, 35, 50, 75 and 100 from the day experiment began. The specimens were obtained in block and made the original slides cut with a thickness of 1μm and stained with toluidine blue. The results were as follows: 1. The most upper portion of junctional epithelium was intact until Day 7, but it began to exfoliate from Day 14, the peak of exfoliation was observed on Day 100. 2. Intercellular space in junctional epithelium was prominently increased to Day 14, continued to Day 50, and slowly decreased. 3. Number of PMNL in junctional epithelium was started to increase from Day 3 and appeared must prominent on Day 14, but there was not much increase afterwards. 4. Increase in number of blood vessel in connective tissue began from Day 7 and was maintained until Day 35. 5. Number of PMNL in connective tissue was increased from Day 7, but there was not much increase. 6. Each cell of junctional epithelium was decreased in width from Day 14, but no great changes were observed in total junctional epithelial width due to increase in intercellular space. 7. No increase in thickness and apical proliferation of junctional epithelium was observed through whole period of experiment.
